Essays on Fashion

The word fashion has many connotations.  One can have a sense of fashion, be fashionably late, and be a fashion diva.  But what, truly, is fashion?  Fashion is virtually anything that is currently popular in social designs, be it in clothing fashion, fashion jewelry, or household furniture and décor fashion.

For a fashion to be set, it requires two basic ingredients.  First, a fashion theme is required.  The fashion theme could be any mix of color, texture, shape, or general appearance.  The unifying fashion theme could also be more specific, such as a fashion line based on the garments and furnishings of an historic era or a popular movie.  The hair-bun look made a brief comeback during the time of popularity for the movie “Star Wars,” but has since settled back to relative obscurity.

The second ingredient required is public acceptance which creates a market for the fashion.  At one time, public acceptance drove the clothing industry and for most companies, it is still of vital importance.  However, it is equally true that the mere mention of certain fashion designer names almost guarantees acceptance of a new fashion design.  This acceptance can also be affected by product placement in key television and movie events, such as the Grammy Awards presentations.

  • Who are some of the main players in the fashion industry today and/or historically?  What is their background?  Do they have a defined style or theme to their work?
  • Select the work of a specific fashion designer (well-known or not so well-known) and critique his or her latest fashion line.  Compare it to other currently offered fashion lines.  Is it promising?  Is it radical in comparison?  How does it compare with his or her fashion line from the previous season or year?
  • Many of our fashion standards, such as button placement, have ties to history.  What are some of these fashion ties and how have they affected us throughout history?
  • How does advertising affect the social acceptance of new fashion designs?  How has globalization affected the fashion industry?  How has the fashion industry responded to design piracy?

Truly, the possible topics for a fashion-oriented essay are as diverse as the fashions themselves, ranging from fashion design topics to topics of social and economic impact of fashions and the fashion industry.  Our writers (male and female) come from a wide range of social backgrounds and thus a wide range of views on the topic of fashion.  As professional researchers and writers, they are fully qualified and ready to assist you with your fashion essays and critiques, as well as virtually any other topic.

Essays on Animal Husbandry

Spending my early years living in rural Texas, the sight of horses running and cows grazing were so common that I did not give them much thought, other than perhaps how I might convince a neighbor to let me ride their palomino.  A major industry in our community of Killeen, Texas, was that of animal husbandry – the care and raising of farm animals.

Animal husbandry is actually an example of a multidisciplinary field.  Caring for animals goes far beyond simply throwing some hay into a trough and filling a cistern with water for the cows.  Those practicing animal husbandry wear many hats, from being a carpenter, building the housing and shelters for the animals, to and accountant keeping tabs on the cost of feed and the price the animals are going for in the current marketplace.  In the opinion of most, animal husbandry is as complex as investment in stocks and bonds with many saying that animal husbandry is more complex.

Most experts in animal husbandry focus on one particular type of animal and frequently on a specific subset industry, such as dairy farming.  This allows them to gain efficiency in the specific animal husbandry market they serve, but many argue that they do so by sacrificing diversity, making them more vulnerable to market fluctuations.  Individual communities and regions following this same trend become vulnerable to environmental concerns as well, such as global warming-related climate change.

  • There are only a handful of publishing firms supplying books and materials on the subject of animal husbandry, but a wide variety of outreach programs supporting the industry.  Examine some of the academic and governmental resources on animal husbandry and determine whether the available resources are adequate to support an industry as diverse as animal husbandry.
  • There are many threats to animal husbandry specialization, comparable to the threats against monoculture farming.  Describe some of these threats, evaluate the potential impact of each, and offer recommendations for action to mitigate or eliminate the threats.

In schools, there are many organizations supporting continued development of animal husbandry skills and knowledge.  From 4H to FFA, each of these organizations focuses on hands-on skills in farming and animal husbandry, but frequently at the sacrifice of writing and other critical skills.  Our writers, such as myself, come from many backgrounds.  Some have grown up on farms and in rural communities, witnessing firsthand the dynamic environment of farming and animal husbandry.  This has given us a unique position in being able to provide knowledgeable and comprehensive essays and reports on agriculture, farming and animal husbandry.

Place your order today and let our team of seasoned, talented writers prepare your expertly handled animal husbandry essay or report today.

Essays on Historic Preservation

The statement that there is much to learn from history applies to virtually every academic discipline.  Historic documents and relics require specialized handling to prevent further damage, buildings and other structures are threatened by acid rain and vibrations from nearby industrial operations and even ordinary traffic passing the structures.  This is the realm of historic preservation.

A myriad of technologies have been developed for the historic preservation of materials and structures, ranging from hermetically sealed display cases to engineering reinforcement and chemical coatings.  The essence is preventing further damage and deterioration of the subject.  On occasion, past historic preservation methods ended up causing more harm than good.

Historic preservation of human knowledge is a specialized field dedicated to the preservation of documents and the conversion of oral histories and legends into written, preserved form.  In today’s world of high technology, historians are deeply concerned about the continuing need for historic preservation and how this conflicts with the limited life span of today’s digital technologies.

  • Examine modern data storage technologies and determine what methods are available for the historic preservation of current and future information in a way that ensures its accessibility to future generations.  What knowledge is currently in danger of being lost due to the limits of past storage options and technologies?
  • Why is historic preservation of human knowledge so important?  What might the consequences of failing to preserve historic information cause?  Are there examples of past failures in historic preservation and what were the consequences?  What measures are currently being taken to preserve human knowledge?

One thing that the historic preservation of human knowledge requires is someone to write or otherwise produce documentation of that knowledge.  To effectively develop such materials takes an expert hand and a knack at communications.  Additionally, preparation of such materials requires research into the original subject.

Our staff is expert in such matters, both researching and writing.  Knowing the difficulties in ensuring the accuracy of historic information and understanding the importance of such accuracy, our writers are particularly qualified to write essays and articles on the topic of historic preservation as well as for the purpose of historic preservation.

Essays on Interdisciplinary Development

Our society today has become one of individual specialization.  Neurologists rarely intrude on the territory of podiatrists, accountants rarely intrude on the territory of executives, and software developers rarely involve themselves in finances.  Yet each of these fields can, and frequently does, rely on indirectly obtained information from outside sources.  In interdisciplinary development, these informal paths are not only formalized, but are the very basis of the interdisciplinary development.

In interdisciplinary development, the practitioner will frequently hold multiple, diverse academic qualifications.  One example of interdisciplinary development would be a sociology Master who also holds a degree in climatology and subsequently specializes in how climate and climate change affects the structure and development of various sociological units and cultures.  Another example of interdisciplinary development is an artist involved in software engineering who develops graphic design programs.

The key to defining interdisciplinary development is that the development, when critically analyzed, is found to be composed of two or more independently identifiable academic or scientific disciplines that are combined to form a new, independently identifiable discipline or specialized application requiring significant contribution from the separate disciplines for its activities and operations.

  • How does interdisciplinary development compare and contrast with multidisciplinary development and trans-disciplinary development?  What is the significance of each?
  • Identify a currently accepted academic field that is an example of interdisciplinary development and explain its evolution into an independent, interdisciplinary field of study.  What elements of its original academic disciplines have been maintained?  How have the disparities of the independent disciplines been resolved to form the new discipline?
  • To understand the intricacies of interdisciplinary development, one must have an understanding of the multiple disciplines involved, how they intersect within the interdisciplinary development, and what desired (or undesired) environment does this intersection produce.

Interdisciplinary development, by its very nature, requires the student or practitioner to have a working knowledge of many fields of study; those writing articles on interdisciplinary development doubly so.

Our writers, being experts in their fields and in research, are able to prepare essays, reports and other academic and professional articles on a wide variety of topics, including interdisciplinary development in a quick, professional manner.

Essays on Social Courtesy

Recently, I was attempting to cross a busy street in a smaller Denver Metro community.  The road was a two-lane, one-way street and I was resigned to waiting until there was a suitable break in traffic.  I was, however, surprised when drivers in both lanes stopped simultaneously to allow my safe crossing.  As I crossed, I waved to the courteous drivers in gratitude.  It made me realize the importance of social courtesy in the day-to-day operation of our modern society.

The concept of social courtesy is as old as human civilization, though what social courtesy means and what it includes has varied widely over that history.  In ancient Egypt, commoners where expected to move to the side of the road and to kneel on one knee in respect when the Pharaoh passed them.  In China, men and women were expected to kowtow (bow with their faces to the ground) when passed by or entering the presence of the emperor, but in Japan, to break eye contact with a social or military superior was grounds for instant execution by that superior for disrespect.

Every society that is, or ever was, has had unique facets of acceptable social courtesy and conduct.  From the mannerisms of formal dining table etiquette to everyday social courtesy in welcoming a friend or business associate to the legislated requirements of vehicular operation courtesy, our society cannot exist without social courtesy.  Social courtesy encourages and allows the smooth operation of our society.

  • Historic analysis of many mannerism and social courtesy reveals underlying reasons for the traditions.  Analyze a set of common social courtesy behaviors and determine the possible rationale behind those behaviors.
  • Differences in social courtesy from one nation to another are often cited as obstacles to doing business in foreign countries where even a single error in social courtesy can end sensitive financial negotiations.  Select a country or region where this phenomenon is prevalent and analyze how this issue blocks or impedes the concept of globalization.

Writing about social courtesy can take many forms since social courtesy touches so many facets of our society.  Our professional writers are ready and capable to assist with your needs for social courtesy essays and many other topics.  All we need is your order.

Essays on Japanese Literature

When we speak of literature, our mind tends to drift westward towards American and European literature. Yet many other literary histories are just as significant and dynamic. From the passions of Arabic lore to the dramatic cultural tones of Japanese literature, we overlook much of the richness of human experience, desire, and tradition.

Japanese literature is an excellent example of this truth. Western society prides itself on the works of William Shakespeare, Tolstoy, and even Homer’s Iliad, yet from Japan we have Kojiki (a compilation of Japanese myth and legends), Nihon Shoki (a chronology of historical events), and Man’yōshū (perhaps some of the most beautiful poetry in the world). A note of significance is Nihon Shoki is considered more historically accurate than Kojiki, which is suspected of being a historical cleansing executed to rewrite Japanese history after the fall of the Soga clan to legitimize the Imperial Throne. The Kojiki also focuses primarily on the lineage of Japanese deities and is thus still considered significant in Japanese literature.

In another way, Japanese literature has claim to another literary first. In western culture, when we think of literature such as science fiction, H.G. Wells’ The Time Machine is usually considered one of the earliest works. Yet it is in Japanese literature that we find perhaps the oldest example. Taketori Monogatari (roughly translated as “The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter”) is a wonderful 10th century Japanese folktale about a bamboo cutter finding a tiny baby inside a bamboo stalk (reminiscent of the tale of Thumbelina) and takes her to raise as his own daughter. In the end, it is learned the girl was a princess of the moon, sent to Earth for safety during a celestial war.

  • Much of Japanese literature focuses on the power of minor people performing wondrous tasks and adventures. How is this balanced against the backdrop of Japanese traditional loyalty to family and authorities or is there even a conflict between them?
  • With the richness and diversity of Japanese literature, why has western society overlooked or ignored its significance?

When researching foreign literature, students are often overwhelmed not by the volume of information, as with western literature, but with the task of finding relevant resources and translations. With the advent of the Internet, this is becoming less of an issue, but advanced research skills, like those our writers possess, are frequently still necessary to locate the desired information on Japanese literature.

Essays on Military History

It is said that, at any moment in modern society, there are well over 100 different conflicts occurring in the world. These are events which are adding to the diverse arsenal for students writing about military history. Yet as the name implies, one is not limited to recent events, or even not-so recent events.

Military history is composed not only of battles and battle analyses, but of technology development, social influences, economic costs, organizational management and even personal biographical papers on famous (or infamous) wartime figures.

The history of mankind has, for the most part, been a military history, filled with violence and conquest. This military history has been fueled by many issues such as religious differences, desire for economic and political power, or conflicts over the control of critical resources. The overwhelming propensity of mankind towards violence leads many to ask if it is possible for mankind to achieve world peace or is he condemned to continue this path of military history.

Records of military history can be found as early as the ancient Sumerian empire of the Middle East. Archeological discoveries throughout the ancient world indicate a military history with multiple large-scale conflicts from the empires of Northern Africa to the lower Asian peninsulas. Though archeological digs find many things unrelated to military history, the amount of weaponry and armor found gives clear indications that the ancient world was not a peaceful one.

  • Select one example of a battle or military campaign for critical analysis. What brought on this conflict? What were the political consequences? Did this conflict trigger subsequent events?
  • Consider what inventions used in everyday society that started out under military applications. Have there been civilian technologies used in military ways the inventor might not have considered at the time of invention?
  • Since World War II, the United States has had an ever-growing military-industrial system. How has this affected the economic and society within the United States? Please note that there is a significant Presidential quote from the 1950s on this issue.

Many of our writers have a military background, allowing them to craft military history articles and essays from viewpoints within as well as outside of the military industry. Couple this with their incredible research and writing skills and it becomes obvious how they are able to produce quality essays on military history upon the demand and meeting the needs of our clients.

Essays on Religious Conflict

People need look no further than the daily headlines of any major newspaper to find the evidence of religious conflict in today’s society. The current basis of our conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan, when examined critically, has clear overtones of religious conflict. The organization Al-Qaeda is an extremist Sunni Islamic movement who uses religious convictions as justification for terrorism around the world in an active campaign against Christian and Jewish society. With the growing power of the news media and Internet connectivity globally, information and news about such religiously based violence and hatred is now widely known.

Yet even with this newfound knowledge, the basic fact is that religious conflict is nothing new. The holy scriptures themselves contain accounts of religious conflict. One example is the tale of the prophet Daniel being thrown into a lion’s den for refusing to bow to an idol of another god. The infamous Crusades were a holy war against Islam, executed by the western Christian powers of the age that planted the seeds of religious conflict still echoing today.

Examination of Hitler’s hatred for the Jews in Europe is further evidence of the potential damage caused by religious conflict. Even today many Jews are looked upon with suspicion that originated in the malicious propaganda manufactured by the Nazis to justify their atrocities against the Jewish community with accusations of immorality, usury, and politically seditious agendas.

  • How exactly did Hitler and the Nazis use propaganda against the Jewish community before and during World War II? How has our society today been influenced by this propaganda?
  • What was the basis for the Crusades and who was involved? How has this history influence Christian-Islamic relations over the years?
  • Select one example of religious conflict and explain its dynamics and influences on the affected communities.

The topic of religious conflict is primarily a research and analysis topic, though various aspects such as religious justification for violence could be the topic of an opinion paper. Historic examples of religious conflict might also be the subject of a cause and effect analysis.

Regardless of the type of paper, the topic of religious conflict can be a complex one, particularly when analyzing the effects of the conflict. Our skilled research writers are fully capable and ready to assist in the completion of any assignment on religious conflict and many other topics. Please contact us for further information.

Essays on Experimental Archaeology

Few people know the name Hōkūle’a, yet its importance in some archaeological circles is unquestionable.  The Hōkūle’a is a full-scale replica of a double-hulled Polynesian canoe, known as a wa’a kaulua.  It was constructed in the late 1970s and sailed from Hawaii to Tahiti in order to prove that the Polynesian canoes could have been used to trade with the ancient Americans.  The construction of the Hōkūle’a is a prime example of experimental archaeology.

Experimental archaeology is a specialized field of archaeology where only techniques and technology available to specific ancient civilizations are used to demonstrate how certain things, such as the Polynesian canoes trade usage, might have been possible.  Experimental archaeology is often used to gather data on the reasonableness of a given hypothesis, not one the absolute accuracy of the hypothesis itself.

Perhaps one of the most well known examples of experimental archaeology centers around one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World: the Great Pyramids of Giza.  Over many decades, archaeologists have proposed several possible techniques on their construction.  Using a variety of experimental archaeology techniques, each has attempted to show how the ancient Egyptians could have done the work, though conclusive proof has yet to be found.

  • How have programs such as “Building the Impossible” affected the field of experimental archaeology?  Are the time constraints placed upon the workers by the documentary deadlines incentive or impediments to experimental archaeology?
  • How can the results of experimental archaeology help with the investigation of ancient technologies and cultures?  Can the lack of knowledge of ancient techniques interfere with the usefulness of experimental archaeology data?

Every discipline has its points of controversy.  For archaeology, experimental archaeology definitely fits this description.  Opponents attack with arguments that, since experimental archaeology proves nothing, the entire category is less than useless.  Proponents claim that by proving something could have been done in a certain way allows new avenues of exploration and understanding of the many anomalistic discoveries over the years.

Regardless of one’s position on the topic, understanding and communicating the significance of experimental archaeological findings takes strong academic skills, including the ability to write effectively.  Since not everyone has such talent, many turn to companies like ours for assistance.  Our fully qualified research writers are ready and will to assist at a moment’s notice on your experimental archaeology essay.
